Rebeca’s work with her mentor/tutor, Sifa, has made it possible for her to improve from failing in math to achieving a passing grade of C+. She is now aiming for a B! Rebeca is now improving in all her classes and has blossomed into a more outgoing and confident individual.

Alvino shared how the SEA Program has transformed his academic journey. From struggling in math and science—two classes he was failing—he is now passing and thriving in those subjects with passing grades of B+ and C+. Thanks to his mentor/tutor, Vishala, for making his progress possible. Alvino has newfound confidence and skills and feels ready to tackle high school next year.

The Emily Shane Foundation is delighted to present our annual Wings Over Malibu event spring fundraiser to take place on Thursday, April 18th, from 6 - 9 PM at Duke’s Malibu - Ocean Room.
